In order to create the necessary platforms for the expansion and development of international cooperation in the electricity and energy industry, Niroo Research Institute and Qods Niroo Engineering Company (GNEC Company) signed a joint cooperation memorandum.
With the aim of developing international cooperation; A cooperation memorandum was exchanged between Niroo Research Institute and Iran's Qods Niroo Engineering Company (GNEC Company)on 16th July 2022.This joint cooperation memorandum was exchanged between Dr. Mehdi Ehsanian, "President of Niroo Research Institute" and Mr.Saeed Mohazab Torabi, "CEO of Qods Niroo Engineering Company"(GNEC Company), at Niroo Research Institute. .
Creating the necessary opportunities between Niroo Research Institute and Qods Niroo Engineering Company, for cooperation in international projects in the electricity and energy industry with scientific and research topics, providing engineering and laboratory technical services, exchange of scientific information, commercialization of research results, provision of manpower in contract projects done in the fields of business is the goals stated in this memorandum.

The MOU signing meeting was attended by Mr. Saeed Mehzeb Torabi "CEO of Qods Niroo Engineering Company"(GNEC Company) and Mr. Armin Alidousti "Deputy Planning and Business Development of Quds Niroo Engineering Company"(GNEC Company), Dr. Mehdi Ehsanian "President of Niroo Research Institute", Dr. Masoud Hasani Marzooni Vice President for Research, Dr.Nastaran Riahi, Director of the Directorate and Public Relations Office, and Dr.Ashkan Zolriasatein, "Head of the International Affairs Department of Niroo Research Institute”.
While announcing the interest of Niroo Research Institute in expanding international communication in the field of providing technical and engineering services and consulting and applied research in the electricity industry, Dr. Zolriasatein stated: in order to expand international cooperation in the field of electricity industry; Niroo Research Institute is ready to participate in ongoing and future international projects of leading Iranian companies in the export of technical and engineering services due to having expert manpower and well-equipped laboratories.
He pointed to the formation of a joint cooperation committee to identify the research priorities and needs of neighboring countries as the next step in concluding this memorandum.
While appreciating the foundation of this valuable move by Niroo Research Institute, Mr. Saeed Mehzeb Torabi "CEO of Qods Niroo Engineering Company"(GNEC Company)", introduced Qods Niroo Company and the history of this company from the beginning until now and its role in the construction of power plants in the whole country.
By giving explanations about how to divide the central roles of Qods Niroo company in different areas, he pointed to the active projects of this company in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Senegal, Bangladesh, Iraq, Syria, Azerbaijan, and Pakistan and described some of the future plans of this company. He discussed the development of international cooperation in the field of electricity and energy.
Dr. Ehsanian, President of Niroo Research Institute, also pointed out the high research potential of Niroo Research Institute and said: Niroo Research Institute, with more than 20 years of experience in research and research development, is now a brand in the implementation of research projects in the electricity industry.
He also welcomed the potential of joint cooperation between the two organizations and announced that by using the capabilities of the two organizations' expert forces, it is possible to create important activities in the country's electricity industry as well as in international arenas.
He also proposed the creation of a joint working group in several specific and stated that due to the familiarity of the parties; these working groups can actively lay the groundwork for advancing the goals of joint projects.
